Had a lovely dinner downstairs, the food was fresh and delicious, my steak and ale pie was hearty and the dessert was a real winner. Staff were friendly too, made us feel right at home right from the start.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but for what we got, it was still reasonable.

A Cozy Stop with Great Hospitality
After a long day, the warm welcome and swift service of cold beers were a delightful surprise. The room was comfortable, and the dinner, though busy, was served quickly. Highly recommend indulging in a hearty breakfast before hitting the road. Aim for an early arrival for the best experience.

Amazing Food and Beautiful Setting
We had a wonderful stay for one night! The food was a highlight, especially the double cooked chips and the amazing rump steak. The atmosphere was charming, with a lovely garden and beautiful views of the horses nearby. I also appreciated the modern amenities in our cozy Standard Double Room. One small area for improvement would be the wifi connection, which was a bit slow at times.

The decor here is absolutely stunning, and I loved enjoying a drink in the beer garden while watching the ducks and ponies. It's a perfect spot for relaxing with its charming outdoor seating and lovely views of the surroundings. Just a small note, the shower tray could use a little more grip, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! 🌷

The breakfast spread had all the good stuff—freshly cooked eggs and homemade jams that took me back home! Plus, the cozy vibes of the aged building made for a brilliant stay. The friendly staff really topped off the experience!
I did find the shower tray a bit slippery—wouldn't mind a non-slip surface there. But honestly, it was just a tiny blip in an otherwise fab stay!

The Standard Twin Room was really cozy and clean, which was nice. The decor was stylish and kept that traditional pub vibe. But, the TV didn’t work, and they didn’t fix it during our stay, which was a letdown. Didn’t get the bathroom cleaned after the first night either. it was a lovely place.
